Having only just finished “Apple Pie,” his first feature, Howard got the job to film for Warner Bros. Records what was to be one of the first rock videos ever made. It was a new concept -- MTV didn’t even exist yet -- and the video was shown in theaters all across Europe as a short before the feature. It then was shown on The Midnight Special TV show.
It was shot on 16mm over the course of a day on a yacht in the Hudson River. The video was edited by Jane Kessler, who also edited, along with Howard, “Apple Pie.”
